How to Withdraw from Binance to Bank Account via P2P

· ~ 14 min read · ChainKer Editorial Team

Withdrawing cryptocurrency from Binance is straightforward once you understand the process. Whether you are moving funds to a personal wallet for long-term storage or sending to another exchange, this guide covers everything you need to know.

Before You Withdraw: Prerequisites

Before initiating your first withdrawal, make sure:

  • Your Binance account has passed KYC (identity verification)
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled — required for withdrawals
  • You have a verified withdrawal method (email, phone, or authenticator app)
  • You know the destination wallet address and the correct network

Binance may also apply a 24-hour withdrawal hold for accounts that have recently:

  • Changed the login password
  • Added or removed a 2FA device
  • Changed the registered email address

This is a security measure, not an error.

Step-by-Step: How to Withdraw Crypto from Binance

Step 1: Log In to Your Binance Account

Open the Binance website or app and log in. Ensure you are on the official Binance platform, not a phishing site. Check the URL carefully.

Step 2: Navigate to the Withdrawal Page

From the top menu, click Wallet, then select Fiat and Spot. On the wallet overview page, click the Withdraw button. Alternatively, you can click the Withdraw button directly next to any specific coin in your balance list.

Step 3: Select the Cryptocurrency to Withdraw

In the withdrawal interface, click on the Coin dropdown and search for the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw. Type the name or ticker symbol. Select the correct coin from the list.

Step 4: Enter the Destination Wallet Address

In the Address field, paste the receiving wallet address. This should be the deposit address from your personal wallet (MetaMask, Ledger, Trust Wallet, etc.) or the deposit address of the exchange you are sending to.

Critical: Triple-check this address. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Sending to a wrong address means permanent loss of funds.

Some advanced users use the Binance Address Book feature to save frequently used addresses. This reduces the risk of copy-paste errors.

Step 5: Select the Correct Network

This is the most important step. Choose the network that matches the receiving wallet or exchange.

For example:

  • If withdrawing ETH to MetaMask, select Ethereum (ERC-20)
  • If withdrawing USDT to an exchange that supports TRC-20, select Tron (TRC-20)
  • If withdrawing BNB to a BNB Chain wallet, select BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20)

The selected network determines where the transaction is processed. A mismatch between what you select on Binance and what the receiving address expects can result in lost funds.

Step 6: Enter the Withdrawal Amount

Type in how much you want to withdraw. Binance will display:

  • Minimum withdrawal amount for the selected coin and network
  • Transaction fee (deducted from the withdrawal amount or your balance)
  • Amount you will receive after fees

You can click Max to withdraw your entire available balance (minus the fee).

Step 7: Add Memo or Tag if Required

For certain coins, a Memo, Tag, or Payment ID is required along with the address. These include XRP, XLM, ATOM, EOS, and several others.

If you are sending to a personal non-custodial wallet that you control entirely, a Memo is often not required. But if you are sending to another exchange or custodial wallet, they will specify a Memo on their deposit page — you must include it.

Step 8: Review and Confirm

Review all details carefully:

  • Destination address
  • Network
  • Amount
  • Fee
  • Amount to be received

When satisfied, click Withdraw. Binance will then send a verification request.

Step 9: Complete Security Verification

Binance requires security verification before processing withdrawals. You may need to complete one or more of:

  • Email verification (click a link in a confirmation email)
  • SMS verification (enter code sent to your phone)
  • Authenticator app code (Google Authenticator or Binance Authenticator)

Complete the required verification steps and the withdrawal will be submitted.

Step 10: Track the Withdrawal

After confirming, you can track the withdrawal status:

  1. Go to Wallet > Transaction History
  2. Filter by Withdrawal
  3. Find your transaction and click on it to see the status and TXID

Once the transaction has a TXID and shows as "Completed," it has been broadcast to the blockchain. You can track it further on the appropriate blockchain explorer.

Withdrawal Processing Times

Processing times vary by coin and network:

Network Typical Processing Time
Bitcoin 30 minutes to 2 hours
Ethereum 5–30 minutes
Tron (TRC-20) 1–5 minutes
BNB Smart Chain 3–10 minutes
XRP Under 5 minutes
Solana Under 5 minutes

Binance processes most withdrawals automatically, but some may be flagged for manual review, which can add delays.

Understanding Withdrawal Fees

Binance charges a fixed withdrawal fee per transaction, which varies by coin and network. These fees go to the network miners/validators, not to Binance's profit. Examples:

  • BTC via Bitcoin network: ~0.0004 BTC
  • ETH via Ethereum: ~0.0005 ETH
  • USDT via TRC-20: ~1 USDT
  • USDT via ERC-20: ~10–15 USDT (higher due to Ethereum gas costs)
  • BNB via BEP-20: ~0.0005 BNB

To minimize fees, use networks with lower transaction costs when possible. TRC-20 and BEP-20 are generally cheaper than ERC-20 for the same assets.

Security Best Practices for Withdrawals

Enable All Security Features

Use both email and authenticator 2FA. Never rely on SMS alone if possible.

Use the Address Whitelist

Binance offers a Withdrawal Address Whitelist feature. When enabled, you can only withdraw to pre-approved addresses. Any new address must be added 24 hours before it can be used. This prevents attackers from withdrawing to unauthorized addresses even if they compromise your account.

Enable it at Account > Security > Withdrawal Whitelist.

Beware of Withdrawal Scams

Never send crypto in response to someone asking you to "test" a withdrawal, verify your account, or release a "frozen" balance. These are scams. Binance will never ask you to send crypto to verify anything.

Start With a Test Withdrawal

If withdrawing to a new address for the first time, send a small test amount first. Confirm it arrives correctly, then send the rest.
